How does Data Vault FTP Storage
work:

on the setup area of your control panel, Handy Backup or
FTP Client

Add Data Vault's FTP Server
Address,
-
Enter your username,
-
Enter password,
-
Select data & time,
-
Perform Backup and you are done.
Data Vault’s FTP Storage provides
the following major features:
- Supports all FTP clients and Web browsers.
- Supports SSL connections. (If the FTP client
supports SSL connections as well.)

- Data Vault FTP Storage Server protects
your business critical and sensitive data with the highest
commercially available data encryption level (128-bit).

- User ID and password is encrypted whether connected with SSL or not.

FTP Data Storage system meets the
encryption requirements for HIPAA transactions
and file transfers.
- Supports automatic resume of failed transfers - if
the client connection is lost before a file transfer is
complete, when the client logs on again, the FTP server
resumes the transfer where it was interrupted. (This feature
must also be supported by the FTP client.)

- Secure Password Protection - Each username and password has separate and
distinct file space for their files. Each user is
restricted to his own folder when he logs in.
